Warmly Celebrate the Official Completion and Commissioning of a Major Project ¨C the Highway Intelligent Safety Early Warning System Construction Project ¨C Co-Developed by Marui Data and the Rural Highway Development Center of the Municipal Bureau of Transportation of a Certain City!

Project Background and Significance

With the rapid advancement of urbanization, traffic safety issues have become increasingly prominent. To ensure the travel safety of the general public, the Rural Highway Development Center of the Municipal Bureau of Transportation of this city completed the bidding process for the Highway Intelligent Safety Early Warning System at the end of December 2023. Construction of the system commenced in May this year and immediately entered the implementation phase.

This system covers major traffic intersections around the county seat, with advanced monitoring and early warning equipment installed particularly at hazardous at-grade intersections on arterial roads such as National Highway 502 and National Highway 202, as well as on rural roads and county roads.

Project Overview

The construction of this Highway Intelligent Safety Early Warning System officially commenced on May 12th. After a series of meticulous steps¡ªincluding digging pits, pre-embedding batteries, formwork erection for foundations, foundation pouring, pole installation, and equipment commissioning¡ªthe project has now been basically completed.

Covering a total of 36 intersections, the project involves 112 sets of equipment, including 112 high-definition cameras. These devices provide strong support for traffic accident review and on-site monitoring.

Technological Innovation and Application

Unlike previous projects, this project has installed a number of cameras matching the quantity of equipment at each intersection, enabling all-round and dead-angle-free monitoring of the intersections. These cameras not only record real-time traffic conditions but also transmit and analyze data through the Early Warning Cloud Platform, improving the intelligence level of traffic management.

Furthermore, in response to the characteristic of Kedong County having a large number of intersections with curves and branch roads, the project has adopted a configuration for complex intersections that enables vehicle arrival warnings from any direction to be sent to other intersections, effectively enhancing traffic safety.

Achievements and Outlook

Currently, the connection rate of the Early Warning Cloud Platform for the Road Traffic Safety Early Warning System is relatively high, and the system operates stably and reliably. The implementation of this project has not only improved the efficiency and quality of traffic management but also provided strong protection for the travel safety of the general public.

In the future, Marui Data and the Rural Highway Development Center of the Municipal Bureau of Transportation of a Certain City will continue to increase investment, promote the upgrading and improvement of the rural road early warning system, and provide a more convenient and safer travel environment for citizens.
